    TOKIN’s samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnet has superior heat resistance that realizes better residual magnetic characteristics than neodymium (NdFeB) magnets at a higher temperature of 150°C. Made of a new material with superior heat-resistance, it provides outstanding performance in harsh, high-temperature environments such as motors and for in-vehicle sensors that require heat-resistance properties in a smaller package.
