space About Our Employee Benefits
  TOKIN America Inc. offers a range of benefits for our eligible, full-time employees and their families. Many benefits are available upon hire; some benefits require a waiting period before employees are eligible for enrollment. The following is a brief summary of benefits, and complete provisions on eligibility and enrollment are detailed in the insurance plan documents for our employees. (Policy provisions will prevail in the event of any discrepancies, and plans are subject to change at any time.)
  Medical & Dental Insurance
  TOKIN America offers a choice of two health plan with a variety of benefits including prescription drug coverage. One health plan option is available free to employees and their dependents and includes Health Savings Account (H.S.A.) with employer contributions to help pay for medical expenses on a pre-tax dollar basis. The second plan option is available for employees and their dependents in which the company pays the majority of premium cost.

Our dental plan includes 100% free preventive care and free basic care in-network. The company covers the majority of premium cost for employees and their dependents in the dental plan.

Both medical and dental insurance plans allow employees the flexibility to select medical care providers in and out of network for maximum flexibility.
  Vision Insurance
  TOKIN America offers FREE vision care insurance for our regular, full-time employees and their dependents who participate in our medical and/or dental insurance plans. The insurance premiums are 100% covered by the company.
  Life & Accident Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
  TOKIN America provides all full-time, regular employees with Life and AD&D insurance coverage at no cost. The basic life insurance coverage is 2 times annual salary to a maximum of $300,000. The AD&D benefit will equal the life insurance amount to a maximum of $300,000 for eligible employees.
  Short-Term Disability (STD) Insurance
  TOKIN America provides all eligible full-time, regular employees with short-term disability (STD) insurance coverage at no cost. This benefit helps our employees with short term income replacement when they are ill and unable to work.
  Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance
  TOKIN America provides all eligible full-time, regular employees with long-term disability (LTD) insurance coverage at no cost. An indispensable income replacement benefit for employees who are unable to work due to long term disability/illness.
  Personal Time Off (PTO)
  TOKIN America provides regular, full-time employees with generous personal time off (PTO) benefits. Employees accrue from 15 to 25 days annually based on the length of service at the company. Our PTO benefits help employees balance work and life commitments.
  Holidays
  TOKIN America observes 10 federal holidays annually. Full-time, regular employees are paid for company designated holidays. The company assigns additional floating holidays at its discretion on a yearly basis.
  Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  TOKIN America provides full-time, regular employees and their families with free, confidential counseling services via our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Our EAP service offers caring, professional assistance for a variety of life concerns such as relationship issues, family concerns, stress, drug and alcohol concerns, financial referrals, legal referrals and other personal problems.
  401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
  TOKIN America offers eligible employees an opportunity to contribute to a 401(K) retirement plan up to the IRS maximum to help employees save for retirement. The company provides contributions per pay period. Vesting schedule applies for employer contribution amounts into the 401(K) retirement.
